Finding Hope Amidst Chaos: A Heartfelt Tribute to OHU’s Volunteers

A mother with her two children smiling.

“It is hard for me to express all my thanks to the team of volunteers [at Our Home Ukraine]. Running away from the horrors of war and constant bombardment, I thank God I ended up here. Sincere hospitality, delicious food, and a warm bed. Responsiveness, understanding, and compassion – that’s what we found here. My children are finally sleeping peacefully. We have nowhere to go back to. Thanks to the whole team, I hope for a peaceful life for my children. This is like one big family that always understands, helps, and understands. I wish there were more people like that. You are my only hope”
