FOOD distribution
OHU’s food distribution program serves seniors, people with disabilities, and IDPs in Izmail, Odesa. Our staff distributes food packages at The Church of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing Women twice weekly, totaling 1,828 packages monthly. Additionally, we provide home deliveries twice monthly for bedridden individuals. Since 2023, OHU has distributed 41,470 food packages to our aid recipients.
For IDPs and families facing financial hardships, our staff takes them shopping to select their own essential groceries and household items, empowering them to make choices that best suit their families’ needs and circumstances.

February 2023: Program Launch
October 2023: Launch of food distribution to Izmail’s Specialized School #5
November 2023: Expansion to 3 new villages – Saf’yany, Utkonosivka, and Kyslytsya
Aid Totals: 18,708 food packages served

- Food Distribution for IDPs & Families with Financial Hardships: Financed food packages & other necessary goods for 107 individuals bi-weekly
