OHU’s village family assistance program supports marginalized rural residents and meets their essential needs. OHU staff visits 11 villages across Odesa monthly, assisting diverse individuals, including single mothers, people with disabilities, and seniors. Since 2023, OHU staff has completed 1,766 village aid visits, providing families with various items, including food packages, household goods, baby essentials, medication, and educational materials.
OHU currently services aid recipients in these villages: Petrovirivka, Shabo, Sofiyivka, Vygon, Matroska, Broska, Kam’yanka, Saf’yany, Kyslytsya, Pryozerne, and Utkonosivka.
