Petrovirivka and Izmail, Ukraine – January 03, 2025 – Our Home Ukraine Foundation (OHU) is thrilled to announce that, in addition to the 40 refurbished laptops delivered to the Petrovirivka Art Lyceum of Odesa Regional Council “Petrovirivka Internat” in November 2024, a further 70 laptops have been successfully distributed among the Petrovirivka Lyceum, Armashivska Primary School, Novosvitivksa Gymnasium, and the Izmail Educational and Rehabilitation Center. This continued collaboration with Belmont Trading, UAExpress, and local educators is furthering OHU’s mission to bridge the technology gap in rural Ukrainian communities.
Following the arrival of the first batch of 40 laptops, which replaced outdated devices from the early 2000s, OHU has expanded its impact by ensuring that four additional schools have received the same high-quality refurbished laptops. The updated technology empowers these children with access to modern educational tools and the ability to participate in digital learning environments, a crucial step in meeting the educational standards set by Ukraine’s Ministry of Education.
These 70 additional laptops represent a significant milestone in our efforts to ensure that every child, regardless of where they live, has access to the resources they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world. As part of the ongoing initiative, OHU is working with each school to expand their informatics programs, helping their students sharpen their technical skills and prepare for their future academic and professional careers.
